Commissioned by SBS New Media & Film Victoria, Cornerfold. An online magazine dedicated to bringing the work of young designers and writers together in a multimedia environment.
Brief
Cornerfold Issue 9, Street art. Foundry was commissioned to contribute to the Street art issue, which featured the work of prominent street artists, designers, and writers.
Concept
This street installation titled Just one person and look at all you have done, was pasted on the side of a house in suburban Melbourne.
Spanning 6 × 4 metres, it was an exploration of activities of one person within a lounge room, made evident by typographic illustrations. It began with the line drawing of the lounge room, and each day a new typographic illustration was drawn onto the wall – making it a ‘live’ site. The protagonist is made visible only through the consequences of his actions.
